Railway Bench

I think this bench must have come from the old Peebles railway station (now long gone).  It now sits in the War Memorial Quadrangle which is right beside the John Buchan Museum where I was working this morning.  It was far too cold for sitting on the bench.  Everyone who came into the museum complained about the cold.  One person who came in (a visitor to the town) told me that they were prepared for the cold and had brought warm clothes but they didn’t expect they would have to wear them all at the same time.
