Rare
It’s rare to be able to get a photograph at Robin Hood’s Bay without lots of visitors in the shot.
We always have a trip here at least once a year, it was a change to come in sunshine because we usually choose a day when it rains.
Parked at the top of the village and took the coastal path to the seafront instead of snaking through the steep descent that runs through the houses. But we did climb up it on our way back.
We did come across a lot of people all around the bay, some even in the sea.
We went to Bertie’s, the shop that sells very expensive clothing but we’re not tempted for once.
The we ambled along and found a new to us cafe/bar and had a very enjoyable lunch overlooking the sea.
Have included an extra of late yesterday evening when we had our usual late dog walk, the colours were beautiful.
On our return to our cottage we watched an owl for about ten minutes, he put on a very good show, sadly the camera on my phone could get a decent image but just watching it circle a field again and again was enough.
