Edinburgh Tram

Bob was keen to go through to Edinburgh today and so we did!  We took the tram from Ingleston to Ocean Terminal, just because we had never done that before.  It was an interesting ride of an hour or so, as it trundled along, through outskirts and then the centre of the city and down Leith Walk to the Terminal.  

Sadly the weather was rather dismal and although I took quite a few photos from the moving tram, the photo of the actual tram is the one that I liked best.

At Ocean Terminal we saw the Royal Yacht Britannia berthed on the river, and we had a lovely lunch at Frankie and Bennie's.  We usually merely have a sandwich at lunchtime, but treated ourselves today.

Home now but not in need of any food.
