A Garden View of St Paul's

St. Paul's Cathedral dominates most of my day. I walk past it on my way to work, I see it from my office window, and most of the roads in the area seem deliberately designed to offer a direct view of its iconic dome. But while the Cathedral's architecture is awe-inspiring one of the things I truly love and connect with are its gardens.

There is something quite uplifting about watching the garden change with the seasons. The wisteria, which draped so gracefully just a few weeks ago, has now faded. In its place the roses are beginning to bloom -  pinks, whites, deep reds - each one adding its own splash of colour and life. It's such a beautiful shift, and I find myself already looking forward to the next chapter, when the hydrangeas finally come into bloom.

And don't worry - there will be a blipfoto of that.
