Midtown

Embers from a wildfire landed on an historic trading post in La Ronge and spread to the next door building. Seven thousand people have been evacuated from the town and surrounding area leaving behind firefighters who have kept the in town fire from spreading. A number of other communities have not fared as well but due to heroic efforts of all emergency measures personnel, there has been no loss of life.
