The one and only...

...Poppy in the garden this year, self-seeded in one of the troughs. The Poppies in the flowerbed have disappeared.

Had 6 hours to myself but just stayed at home, trying to recharge my batteries. Finally managed to set the water hardness level on the new dishwasher and figured out all the settings. The old machine only had three programmes, this one has five, with three extra functions available for each programme, a possible 15 combinations! Also discovered a part that hadn’t been fitted so engineer coming back out Saturday. Had a long online chat with friend P, discussing possible plans for a final Big Birthday getaway when Singapore comes home in July. After a wet night, sunny on and off but have felt cold all day.
