A good size portion

My journal these days is more of a diary, than an illustration of my photography skills. This shot is absolute rubbish!!

I was advised to try an alternative chippie by the girls in the hairdresser, so we called in on the way back from the gym tonight. This was the size of a medium portion of chips. Half the portion served the two of us, the rest went in the bin !! One fish does the two of us. It was tasty!!!

What was interesting was the conversations that I had with two guys whilst I waited for my order. Both were in their 50’s the first lives outside the town and has never lived more than two miles from where he was born. The second one asked where I’d lived …. Numerous places !!!
The coincidence was that we were both born in Carlisle, and lived about a mile away from one another. At different periods of time, of course. His daughter still lives there and is a midwife… snap!!!

That kicked off my brain cells and my dreams were all about my childhood activities, it was as though it was last week. Great fun!!!

The mad thing is that I had a conversation with S about Carlisle only the night before, and suggested that we might have a long weekend there.
