Halvanna plantation
Dina has been very naughty today. On this morning's walk she and Keely were investigating something in the undergrowth and Dina brought me the head of a very dead rotten rabbit head and despite all my persuasion she wasn't going to let it go. Finally after putting Keely in the van I managed to get it off her, not pleasant.
Off to Launceston to meet up with 2 ex colleagues from the care home, we had a couple of hours chatting over coffee.
On the way home we stopped at Halvanna plantations and had a lovely 3 mile walk through the trees listening to the blackcaps and siskens singing away. Towards the end Dina did a disappearing act, she wouldn't come to the whistle or any trick I tried, then I couldn't see or hear her. So I let Keely off the lead and asked her to find Dina, she led me straight to her, she was busy digging in a rabbit warren. Managed to get her lead on her. She needed a complete hoze down from nose to tail.
The big rock was already balanced and I managed to balance the tiny stone on top. It took a while to find the balancing point
