Last Evening.

On our walk through the village looking for WXYZ images (see yesterday's blip) Chantler63 and I wandered up to see the progress, or rather lack of progress go the HS2 works. Just look at the devastation it's caused on the outskirts of the village. One can only hope that eventually it will all be hidden by landscaping.

After our walk we went to a local pub. I was knocked sideways by the price of my 'medium' glass of wine ..... £13! I either need to get out more to get used to these prices, or not go out at all!
