Borderlines Bookclub
Usual busy Wednesday. Market, a cup of tea at the church followed by counting passengers wanting to take the bus, then my art group and finally the Borderlines Bookclub. For the second time this week the bus left 10 people behind in Sedbergh as it was full. This is the second day in a row that this has happened.
I joined the Borderlines Bookclub in the evening to discuss Mudbound by Hillary Jordan. An interesting story of a family who move to the Mississippi Delta to farm and end up living in a hovel during to numerous circumstances. A reminder of the treatment of Women and Black people during/after the war.
