Drizzle stops play!
Does it, my fluffy arse...
I needed a swim. As in, I really needed a swim. I could feel that the Mayo Curse was starting to mess with my vocal chords.
There was only one thing for it: three or four dives at the Vico, with a few lazy swims in between.
The fact that it started to rain the minute I finished work (from home, me and the cat) didn't deter me. On the plus side I had the Vico to myself. Which was nice.
Mimi seemed quite upbeat after her first Leaving Cert written exam: English, paper 1. She had a coffee with her mates for a debrief and was already back to her books and revision notes by 3.00pm, in preparation for English paper 2 tomorrow.
She must have inherited her sense of organisation from me, that's exactly how I recall preparing for my baccalauréat exams. Yeah, roight...
Extra: the cat helping me to work from home (obviously it was sunny during the day, when I was on the computer...)
