Caught in mid-flight

Had to take Vanessa to get some new tyres today — the garage is down by the canal. Spent a bit of time watching this bird splashing around in the water. Just as I was about to take a photo, it flew off! Managed to catch this shot just after it took off.

In other news, we're a bit closer to being packed. Vanessa’s had a good clean inside, and tomorrow himself will sort the outside.
