Central Library

We walked up the Liver Building today up to the 15th floor. The views of the city were the perfect reward.

Later, we wandered around to the Central Library. Perhaps not on everyone's list of buildings to visit. From the outside, it is a typical victorian building. From the inside, it is this vast open space with a sci-fi style of escalators and staircases going this way, and that. Utterly stunning, I was pleased we made time for it.

Bruce at Annfield was 3 hours of back to back songs. His political monologue about what is happening in America just now was heartfelt, and each line delivered was finished with 'this is happening right now in....America/my land/my home'. He is very aware that it is now the responsibility of every American to stand up and be counted. Followed by the song My City of Ruins, it was emotionally charged.

He's getting old, his vocals weren't as good as last year, his energy, however, can't be questioned. He wasn't keen to leave the stage tonight, I wonder if he was telling us something.
