Waterlillies

Botanics walk in the afternoon between showers - lots of wind in the trees.
Lots of apples well formed in the cottage gardens, and a Morello cherry tree with lots of formed fruit .. that will need to be netted if the birds aren't to get them all. 
The Meconopsis poppies are in full flower; in another couple of weeks they will be past. 

Waterlillies at the Inverleith house pond; we had tea, with a friendly robin; there were magpies, crows and seagulls looking for food at the outside tables too.
