Moving day

At this time of the year some dairy farmers move some of their herd off the farm for a few months to preserve the pasture and ensure their cows have enough to eat.  Its not often the cows are walked to their new pasture.  They are usually trucked,  but our neighbour has leased extra grazing just a few kilometres away so they walk their herd.
