Old Friends

I see Jim as part of The Boys Weekend every year, but it’s been a while since we were round for dinner with him and Louise in their lovely home in Morningside.

They very much wanted to share their condolences in person, after Mum’s passing.

Our four-month odyssey is over tomorrow. It really started end January when we drove to Scotland in a white van to bring some things home from Mum’s flat. We have had three other trips since. We head back content and fulfilled. I wonder what it will be like in Barcelona without those checking-in phone calls to Mum to make.
