Beat Yesterday #4

With my dodgy knee in mind I've taken on a Garmin challenge 'Beat Yesterday', so for ten days I have to walk at least five minutes longer than the previous day.  This morning I decided to get out ahead of the predicted heavier rain (which is yet to materialise!) and walk the circuit of St Ives.  It was probably just too far as yet.  I was glad I'd taken my walking pole but I'm resting up a bit now before I do anything else today.

I do love St Ives for its variety and I pretty much had it to myself as the rain quietly pattered down through the trees.  My blip is of the high point of this walk where the path turns right to go steadily downhill.  You can just see a gateway/finger post through to Altar Lane to the mid right, which is another alternative route.  On either side of the path here are golf greens.  It was the greenery which caught my eye.  The recent mix of showers and sunny spells has brought on the plants and trees and it was accentuated by the wet.

Oh dear, I forgot to stop my Garmin so might have to go a bit further tomorrow..........maybe I'll keep it running as I mooch about the house.
