Two Rhodie Moments

My rhododendron was severely damaged in last winters snow storms but one branch is bravely blooming.  A Swallowtail was taking full advantage of the lovely flowers while a fern was casting pretty shadows on adjacent leaves. Our hottest day will be today, around 90F so the AC's will be cranking.  I had to have the tooth that broke when I was in Scotland extracted yesterday.  No saving it I'm afraid.  When I left the clinic, I saw this wet spot on the sidewalk.  (Extra) Seeing random hearts in odd places always puts a smile on my face, even with my mouth stuffed with gauze!
