Little Gaggle

Not sure where the geese have been hiding, but there were five families out on the lake today. Canada Geese are very protective of their offspring - there are eagles and snapping turtles that might just fancy a little goose for dinner. The parents are just out of frame.

Meanwhile, the miserable cold weather continues.
