Tiger Swallowtail on Rhododendron

The guy who fixed our shed and repaired our front steps was supposed to come by on this day to fix the deck. However, he called at 7:30 in the morning to tell us that his truck would not start. We touched base later and he can't even get anyone to look at it until next week. So all of that is on hold.

With the deck NOT being repaired on this day, I spent some time in the afternoon sitting on the deck, watching the hummingbirds. They love the new salvia I bought them, which makes me happy. And while I was there, this lovely tiger swallowtail (Papilio glaucus) came by to feast on the pink rhododendron blooms.
