Things are gradually improving which allowed for a quick stravaig in the Parish before packing for my holiday. I have to be at the Houton Terminal to get the 17.25 ferry across to Hoy. The tension has gradually been rising so, at 2.15pm, I had to have a drop of Springbank 12yrs at 54.8%. And I didn’t rub it on. Hopefully I’ll finish my book whilst in situ. It’s slightly akin to the 314 pages of densely packed pap, that is the Moscow, and outer areas, phone book. It felt like wading through treacle with divers boots on, against a stiff breeze, and being taunted by Lucy Worsley. I’m not bidding on the film rights. A whippet called Desmond, I ask you.
