Spiky Balloon

This is a seed capsule of the nigella I blipped two days ago - I really like its shape. I won’t let all of its seeds germinate this year, because it tends to take over too much space; but it is an attractive plant in all its stages. 

I visited my mother today, to deliver groceries and see how the ladies are doing. I’m a bit worried now. My mother was withdrawn and silent, hardly speaking at all; and E still suffers from a bad cough.
There’s little I can do, but I will check on them more often than usual in the coming week.
