I spent an enjoyable 15 minutes or so watching some Goldfinches eating the seeds on the Cornflowers.  I had started to dead head them a few days ago then remembered that I'd seen them eating the seeds last year so stopped.  I left the dead heads on the ground and they were also taking the seeds from them too.  It's been a mixed bag of weather today, lots of showers.  Did manage to do a little gardening in-between them.  Tess and I got invited over to my neighbours for a catch up.  A cuppa and biscuit for me and of course Tess got a few treats.
