Dove of Peace.
And how loads of countries need one right now!
We went to a two hour session at the annex to the local Methodist church this morning. It’s about a 15 minute walk, which we did in pouring rain, both with umbrellas and me without my crutch again to see how I would manage.
The annex itself is warm bright and welcoming, with various side rooms and small halls. There was a playgroup in progress in one of them
The seminar in a large bright room was on the subject of Neurodiversity, with space for questions to the presenter, a Clinical Psychologist Dr Lucky Ganatra.
Around 30 people attended, and there were drinks and biscuits beforehand, with a short break in the middle.
It was very insightful and interesting.
We were pleased that we had been.
On the way out, there is a beautiful stained glass window, I took the photo before we left. I couldn’t capture the whole of it as it would have looked odd because I right next to it was a sign saying “Fire Exit”!
On arriving home Chris was working to replace the soffit boards which go round the three sides of our downstairs extension. He began in the pouring rain.
The work he finished yesterday in the garden look so good,
Well it is now evening and we didn’t watch “Race Across the World” last night after all, as I was tired and went to bed early! We are about to watch it now.
I’ve caught up with all the blips posted so far, and no doubt will see what everyone else posted tomorrow morning,
