Sgùrr a' Mhadaidh

Today was kind of strange!

We thought we wouldn’t make any hills as (a) the weather was forecast poor and (b) I had to get the car fixed.

Managed to sort the car at a local garage cash in hand. Thank goodness for that!

Then we decided to attend the shorter day of Sgùrr a' Mhadaidh and Sgùrr a Ghreadaidh.

The weather started out not too bad. On our ascent towards An Dorus, AK decided he didn’t fancy it and turned back. JC and I continued.

The weather was not great by now.

We somehow managed to reach the summit of Sgùrr a' Mhadaidh but had no chance of reaching the 2nd top.

I was gutted as I have these two plus tomorrows two to complete my first round of Munro’s.

Back down and we headed to Dunvegan for AK to meet his sister and JC and I went for a pint and talk about the walk.
