Chaos

Arnie had another outing on the golf course, not his best is the polite way to translate what he said.

I had a really good day with lots done, then headed home for an outing with the pooches.

We got so far on our normal route only to get stuck in the most horrendous jam. It turned out that there had been an incident on the main highway north and the homeward bound folk were using any alternative route.

We eventually got to less than 700m from our normal parking spot but checking on Waze indicated it would take us almost 20 minutes, so we gave up and headed home.

I hate to think how long it would take to some of these folk to get home.
