A bit of privacy

When our new neighbours showed us the plans for the extension on their house next door, I never once imagined that they would increase the height of the terrace outside the kitchen by eight feet!! If they stand on their terrace, we can see them from the waist up. They are both really lovely people but having had total privacy for 38 years, this came as a bit of a shock.
Last week, after nearly two years of work on the house, they moved in. I spoke to them about putting up a trellis which I could grow plants up to give us both privacy.
I bought the trellis last week and Seb, our neighbour put it up. He has made such a good job and unlike a solid fence, we still get light through the trellis. Result for all of us.
