Line Dancing
It was a special events day at the U3A this month. Many of the individual groups had small stalls trying to encourage others to join. I was on the photo group stall and used all my charm on people who came to investigate our display. Needless to say I did not sign up one single person. From my own point of view the current group of six to ten people is big enough, I still can not remember most peoples names.
We also had displays from the poetry reading group, the line dancers and the script reading group. We also heard the music groups selection of their number one desert island disks, a surprising collection given the age of the members.
This afternoon, in between showers, we delivered the invites for our summer bash to those whose emails we don't know.
Then more organising for our holiday, that starts this Sunday morning, and my subsequent trip to Glastonbury. The logistics are quite scary and the possibility of not having enough pants at some stage very real. I will not bore you with the details, my underwear is not usually very interesting to anyone other than me.
