Rhapsody in Blue

My Rose. A tribute to our lovely friend D for whom we travelled to Macclesfield today to join with his family and friends to celebrate his 97 years of a life very well spent.

There was a tender Crematorium service and a great gathering afterwards in one of D's favourite places, the golf club where he was Captain for many years.  Another of his favourite places was The Midland Gliding Club, a keen glider pilot and instructor and which is where we have had the pleasure of knowing him for many years.
