in the garden

so there i was - snapping a flower photo - when suddenly something - went flying directly - over my head - i actually thought it - was going to - land in my hair - i glanced up and caught - my breath because i saw - this beautiful yellow swallowtail butterfly - it landed too far - away from me so - of course i began - to stalk it murmuring - to it that all was fine - and very soon it - landed on some chives - within reach of me

i have always believed - all nature is created by - our wonderful redeemer abba - and as a christ follower - somehow i have a special connection - with all nature in general - that affinity came rushing - forth once more with - this beauty as it paused - for refreshment and to - pose for me for - several minutes before taking - flight once again - it was a simple moment - a gift from abba which refreshed - my soul and easily made it…
