Parallel Worlds

Frog sounds abounded in the ephemeral pond and off into the trees beyond. The call and response seemed endless. I couldn't see any frogs even when I followed the sound. Elusive as the scarlet pimpernel. 

I like these shots of interrupted reflections, as if looking into another parallel world. In the centre a few purple flowers can be seen. Perhaps in that world they are not invasive?
