Clearing out

Today I started to help my friend Jeff clear out this house. He bought this place for his brother 30 years ago after his brother lost his business. The brother passed away 9 months ago and the house has hardly been touched. Just some books have been boxed up. There is a HUGE amount needing to be done before the house can go to auction, for land value.

Jeff is frozen, and cannot seem to do anything or make any decisions. We can give him advice, give him contacts for professional clearance, but nothing changes. This sun room was the neatest looking of any of the rooms.

Today it is 81 years since D-Day, 6 June 1944: the day on which the liberation of France began, marking the beginning of the end of war in Europe.
