Wet but happy

I was lucky with these tobacco plants as I had no idea what colour they would be when I bought them as tiny plantlets.
An odd day, as it rained almost the whole time. I did chores and enjoyed listening to Music and Silence by Rose Tremain, who is one of my fave writers. Set in the court of King Christian 4 in Denmark in early 1600s It was abridged and dramatised for Radio 4 (about 20 years ago). Not like an audiobook which is every word.
My greatest achievement today was to get a person to come and fix my kitchen window. The handle has sheared off. Not good to be unable to open your kitchen window.
