Ramblings and Mutterings

Onward to Crewe!

A wet start to the final day in Manchester.

It was another good day with the cohort, although as I wasn't involved much today I tried to do some work.

The usual panic at the end of the day as my train was cancelled. Defective track discovered near Stockport had stopped all trains. We then discovered that our train back to Wales would start at Crewe, which was at least an hour away. A taxi would have cost a fortune, but luckily one of the participants was heading down the M6 so was able to give us a lift to Crewe and all was well.

I had an unexpected four legged passenger by me for a couple of stops. Little Summer a 3 year old sprocker spaniel was with me and she was lovely. She knew I am a dog lover and was getting plenty of attention from me.

Got home at the time expected, had a cup of tea with toast and headed to bed. A good couple of days.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A good two days in Manchester
2.  Managing to catch the train at Crewe
