Family breakfast

Twiglet (our name each year for the new juvenile woodpecker once it makes its appearance) has finally been enticed onto the feeders. After several weeks of the parents flying back and forth multiple times a day to wherever the nest is, it had been venturing out a bit nearer over the past few days. For a couple of days it sat in a nearby tree while the parent(s) went to feed it, and it briefly landed on the feeders a day or two ago. However, this morning, it was being fed for several minutes on the feeder before they both flew off again. We should have the same happening a few times a day now for the next week or two, as it eventually learns to feed itself.
