Drinks with a view

A meeting in the city paid for my train ticket, coordinated with my husband having an overnight for work too and boom we were out in the town. Thursday is the new Friday apparently and our favourite roof bar was jumping.
Shamefully, we accidentally left without paying for the table service drinks and food, each thinking the other had paid. Went back first thing this morning to apologise and pay but they weren’t able to bring it up on the till and said there was no record so I couldn’t pay. It would have been more than £100, they told me not to worry but I feel deep guilt!!
