Corner Cafe

Late morning we drove half hour to Vathi (capital) of Ithaca, (Ionian Islands, Greece) to get some essentials, enjoy an ice-coffee at our favourite bar, and then stop off at a beach.

The photo' is of a brilliant red shop in the back-street of Vathi town with some locals outside Sesto cafe bar. The colours and scenery are just so typically Greek!

The extra is of a yoing girl and mum playing in the Blue Star Dexa Beach near Vathi, that we enjoyed a couple of hours sat under an Olive Tree with the photo' our view. Very unusual to see a cruise ship in Ithaca, where the German guests were 'tendered' into Vathi port.

We got back late afternoon and are being treated to a meal tonight as a 'thank you' but I was more than happy to do it without reward.
