Castle Fraser

I went to visit the walled garden at Castle Frazer today. This turned out to be not a very good choice. I should have gone somewhere enclosed. There were spots of rain on the windscreen as I headed to the castle. The rain seemed to have passed by when I arrived, and there was a moment of sunshine.

Unfortunately while I was visiting the garden the rain returned. It was maybe not very heavy but it was persistent. I adjourned to the shop for shelter. This also turned out to be not a very good choice when a coach load of tourists flooded the shop. They seemed to be all carrying glasses, not sure where they had obtained them, or whether they were about to receive samples from the shop. Anyway I took fright and went back to the car. There was more rain on the way back to Aberdeen, some of it quite heavy.
