Bulbous, Also Tapered

(Captain Beefheart of course!)

Anybody know what this is? Should we be worried :-)

We've got about a dozen of them pushing up through the erigeron, over 3 feet tall and looking like they are about to burst out like something from Alien. I thought they were going to be chives but a search suggests crow garlic?

A quiet admin day, still trying to find something to tag on to our Southampton break in a couple of weeks time, but close to giving up.
