Ladybird development
Had a restless night last night. Kept waking up, could have been due to vehicle noise. Many do bomb down our road at night and early hours.
Headed to town after breakfast. We've been invited to lunch on Sunday so wanted to take some tokens of thanks. Fresh strawberries, a box of Montezuma chocolates and a cordial fitted the bill. Mr cannot drink alcohol and I certainly cannot drink during the day.
After getting my shopping headed to see the Cambridge Drawing Society Spring exhibition. As usual, a wide range of artwork.
Had a dry afternoon dog walk. I've managed to dodge the showers today. Tomorrow looks a very different prospect.
Made chocolate banana loaf cake in the afternoon.
Phoned my bestie Anna and arranged to see an exhibition next week.
Mr has finally seen his GP about his growing deafness. The GP will refer him to a consultant for assessment. In the past I hve suggested to Mr he could be assessed by Specsavers Audiologists but Mr didn't venture forth. However after his GP appointment he went online and made a Specsavers appointment for this coming Monday. Hopefully they can forward the assessment to the NHS consultant. Non NHS hearing aids are expensive.
The buddleias in the garden are being attacked by something. The leaves are curling, have pale blemishes and a sticky residue. I thought it was just mine but have noticed other buddleias in the neighbourhood are also affected. Today noticed ladybird larvae and ladybirds on some leaves. It was windy when I took my blip so it's not that clear.
Pleasant evening everyone.
