Elvis
I had a fitness session with Sara this morning. Friend A who I usually share the session with, is unwell so it was just me and the heavy weights! The good news is that my knee is holding up well. Afterwards I met up with Hobblers A and R for cuppas at Yorkshire Treats. I spotted the chocolate eclairs had returned and ordered one, but it was very rich and I was sort of wishing I hadn't bothered. We caught up with each other's news until rain stopped play and we went our separate ways.
We both needed some things from the garden centre so took a walk down there. Elvis the parrot was out of his cage and shouting at folks so he had to be today's blip.We had just intended buying plant food but came away with dahlias and wildflowers and a new bird feeder for the drying ground. Somehow the existing one keeps getting emptied almost immediately so the new one closes up if anything large such as squirrel or jackdaw lands on it. We shall see how effective it is over the next couple of days.
Following lunch, Tony wanted to spend some time on Albie's seed bed in the drying ground to prepare it for him planting and sowing this weekend, so I went up with him and began to dig the section we have put on one side for the children's garden.
The lamb casserole and baked potatoes are in the oven and I'm relaxing watching Pointless.
