Moles

It rained heavily in the morning, and I thought I would not be able to mow the lawn, but the sun came out in the afternoon, and there was a little wind. I borrowed Tom‘s mower and did two cuts. The real problem is that the moles are having a field day. The neighbour thinks that they have migrated our way as there is a lot of building work around. We did some weeding as well to try and make the garden a little more presentable, but it really needs professional help to sort it out. It is just annoying that the letting agent allowed it to deteriorate again after I spent a lot of money restoring it to a reasonable state after the tenants left. They had done very little in the garden during the three years they were in the house. We move on tomorrow to see our latest grandchild so we are looking forward to that.
