Pottering About

Woke up to blue skies & sunshines which was perfect for swimming. I wasn't the only one to think so - don't think I've ever seen so many people dipping on a Friday; there was not one but two (sizeable) overspill tables in the cafe afterwards. I was also pleased to a red squirrel in the woods behind the station on my way down.

Back home for lunch then we headed over to Scone Palace for Potfest (no not that kind of pot) which gave us an opportunity to use new Crosstay link road.

One of my classmates (Belinda Glennon ) has a stall. This is her entry for the pot fest competition where stall holders submit a piece based on a saying.  This one is inspired by " cho coltach ri do sgadan" - as alike as two herrings (or two peas in a pod). I really liked it and her actual pieces for sale and bought a vase.

It was fun wondering around in the stalls and gardens where we encountered the white peacock.

We then headed into Perth where we enjoyed a meal at the Everest Inn (good value and extremely tasty Nepalese/ Indian food).

Now at Perth Theatre to see Keli.

'S e latha math a bh' ann.
