Fed the birds and did some gardening then went over to Brigend to buy more bird food. Called in at the Health Centre as they had written asking me to make an appointment to discuss  the blood samples they had taken.  They wouldn't make an appointment. I had to phone up to make one.  I had experience of this years ago.  You will only get an appointment if you phone first thing in the morning. When you do so the line is engaged. You hang up and ring again and again and again until you eventually get through only to be told the appointments are all taken and phone again tomorrow. Tomorrow you repeat the process and the day after and after that ad infinitum. I can't help feeling this process is damaging to people's blood pressure  either because of frustration or because they are a worrier.
