Showborough House and sculpture exhibition
Near Tewksbury. We spent a happy a couple hours wandering the garden, looking at the wide selection of garden flowers and grasses and amazing sculptures. This Pike was made from scrap metal and old tools. Under a series of gazebos sat a table with a large urn, a selection of teas and coffees and two large cakes, basically it was make your own drink, help yourself to cake and leave a donation. All very laid back, a pleasure to visit, luckily on a sunny day.
The first extra was a favourite of mine, I just couldn’t capture it though. It gently moved in the breeze the paddles moving independently to the clockwise movement of the piece, reflecting the shrub nearby and my coat. The second is a hare made from coated wire.
