The holly and the ivy

Waiting for Dina to finish chasing smells in the undergrowth and I saw this eye looking out at me from the holly tree, the ivy was beginning to grow up the trunk.
It's been a bit of an odd day, between morning and afternoon dog walks, washing done and dried on the line. Did some clearing up in the bedrooms and vacuuming, gosh I don't know how dog hair gets into a room the dogs don't go in???
My niece sent me a video of the twins school sports day with the title "brownlee brothers" one twin was winning but stopped and waited for his brother and they raced in together, so cute
