Yellow rose bush

At the end of the day when one remembers that they haven't yet taken a photograph..... one resorts to flowers.   I planted this yellow rose in 2007 when we moved here.  As soon as it had grown as high at the fence the deer ate all the lovely buds, along with the hostas and tulips on the other side of the garden.  Over the years it's become quite random - the roses have been ignored, the hostas thrive, but I think we need to admit defeat regarding the tulips.
