Thank you and Goodbye

I have had 3 chairs and some other bits and bobs on Marketplace for a week with no luck. So paid £3 to have the chairs "boosted" and am now fairly convinced that no one sees anything unless they have been boosted. No matter. almost immediately i had takes for 2 of the chairs. Hurray. At least modified hurray becuase, bitter experience tells me that just because someone says that they will pitch up at 10am on Friday, doesn't mean that they actually will pitch up! However on this occasion they did. One of the ladies was furnishing an Airbnb that she owned and asked if i was selling this little table. I wasn't but I sent Penny a message with this photo saying "keep or let go for £20". "let go" she immediately replied. So I did. Just the table I hasten to add which I had picked up some years ago from a charity shop and rubbed down and painted. I hasten to add that the ash tray made from an old gun cartridge was not "let go". In fact that will be a useful idea for an emergency blip in the future! As regards the table Penny always says that when letting something go I should say "thank you and good bye" . So I did.
