Trio of flowers
Had a lazy morning. No chores done but I did do some admin ... and made a phone call. I got a letter this morning from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to tell me I needed a blood test before my next denosumab injection for osteoporosis. ( this is due on 21st July ) The blood test is to be done at my local health centre. However the letter said that the injection appoinmtent was to be at the hospital. I had to ring them as when I had my first injection at the hospital in January they said I could have subsequent ones at my own GP surgery. When I phoned they checked and said they had forgotten to transfer my treatment to the GP ... but they would do it now.
I had a wander down to the village in the afternoon. First stop was the GP surgery where I handed in a discharge letter from the Eye Clinic to be passed to my doctor. I also made an appointment for the blood test in advance of the injection. I couldn't make an appointment for the injection until the GP surgery receives the necessary forms from the hospital so I have to check back later in the month. ( Why is nothing simple )
Then to the chemist for my repeat prescriptions... and then some food shopping.
The weather was lovely today. Dry and bright and quite warm.
Found a few flowers in the back lane and in my back garden and chose three to blip. left to right - Trailing Bellflower, Crane's- bill and Foxglove. There was a bee buzzing around the foxglove and it went inside most of the flowers while I was watching. The foxglove is growing underneath the bird bath so instead of growing straight up its bent over. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.
