The hotel room

The tournament started.
After a horrible drive (it took us almost 2 hours extra time to get there!) I was glad we arrived at the hotel safely. So much traffic jam and some idiots on the road who don’t belong there. But…no driving from now until Monday evening, and time to relax now.

E started his tournament with a draw against a friendly player he knows from other tournaments and I started with a very nice and fun catching up with my colleague ‘chess parents’. We know each other since our children started playing when they were about 7 years old and it’s always fun to see each other
